Manufacturing Quality Technician
\nLocation: Worcester (Hybrid working available after 4 weeks of initial training)
\nContract: 6-Month (with potential to become permanent)
\nHours: 37 hrs weekly; 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
\nPay Rate: £18.19 - £20.79 per hour (PAYE) | £24.59 - £28.10 per hour (Umbrella)
\nAbout the Role
\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Quality Technician to join a leading Energy manufacturing organisation based in Worcester.
\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for validating inspection reports, supporting quality management system (QMS) improvements, and working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and optimise processes.
\nTeam & Department
\nYou will join the Inspection Department within the wider Operations team. The inspection team currently consists of 5 employees and operates within a larger business unit of approximately 100 personnel.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Measure and inspect manufactured components to ensure compliance with quality standards. \n
- Broad experience in manufacturing quality, including nonconformance handling, inspection reporting, and review/approval of inspection documentation. \n
- Produce, review, and validate inspection documentation and quality records. \n
- Ensure all quality paperwork is accurate, complete, and free from errors. \n
- Investigate and support the resolution of non-conformities. \n
- Liaise with multiple departments to facilitate problem-solving and information sharing. \n
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and inspection processes. \n
- Create, update, and maintain SOPs and work instructions. \n
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS). \n
Essential Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Previous experience working as a Quality Technician within a manufacturing environment. \n
- Experience as a quality technician, strong familiarity with quality paperwork, and knowledge of part inspection. \n
- Experience in Castings, additive manufacturing, and machined part inspection. \n
- SAP ERP systems. \n
- Strong understanding of quality documentation, inspection reporting, and non-conformance management. \n
- Desirable : Zeiss Piweb inspection database. Experience with ZEISS or NADCAP. A background in 3D printing is not required. \n
- NADCAP procedures and audit participation. \n
