\nOur client is a fast-growing, well-funded AI company on a mission to make critical infrastructure safer, more secure and more sustainable. Their technology helps data centres cut energy usage significantly by optimising cooling - one of the biggest energy costs in the industry - unlocking major sustainability gains at scale.
\nThey're hiring a HR Manager to build and own their people function from the ground up as they scale. You'll shape team performance, culture and employee experience end-to-end - from recruitment and contracts through to policy, performance and retention - partnering closely with their VP of Operations and leadership team.
\nWhat you'll own:

- Full employee lifecycle - recruitment, onboarding, performance, offboarding \n
- Employment contracts, HR policies and the employee handbook \n
- Payroll coordination, compensation benchmarking and benefits administration \n
- Employee relations, engagement, culture and internal comms \n
- Disciplinary, grievance and PIP processes \n
- UK employment law and GDPR compliance \n
- HRIS/ATS systems and HR reporting for leadership \n
- Employer branding across LinkedIn, Glassdoor and beyond \n
What you'll bring:
\n- \n
- 3-5 years' experience in a People Ops, HR generalist or HR manager role, ideally within a tech startup or scale-up \n
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, GDPR and statutory compliance \n
- Hands-on experience owning the full employee lifecycle \n
- Experience with payroll coordination, comp benchmarking and benefits administration \n
- Confidence running disciplinary, grievance and PIP processes independently \n
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience) is a plus \n
