ROLE: Employment Associate

LEVEL: 1-2 PQE

MAP Legal are working one of the UK's leading employment teams advising senior executives, entrepreneurs, family offices and international businesses.

Our client is seeking a talented Employment Associate (1-2 PQE) to join its highly regarded London employment practice.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters within a team renowned for its expertise in advising senior executives, partners, founders, C-suite leaders, private clients and employers on complex workplace issues.

The Role

You will work closely with leading employment partners on a diverse range of matters, including:

• Executive appointments, service agreements and incentive arrangements
\n
• High-value exits, settlement negotiations and board-level disputes
\n
• Employment Tribunal litigation, including discrimination and whistleblowing claims
\n
• Restrictive covenants, team moves and confidentiality disputes
\n
• Internal investigations and sensitive workplace issues
\n
• Corporate transactions and the employment aspects of M&A deals
\n
• International and cross-border employment matters
\n

The practice offers a distinctive client base and frequently advises on matters where employment, reputation, tax, immigration and private wealth considerations intersect.

About You

You will:

\n
• Be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2–3 years' post-qualification experience in employment law
\n
• Have strong technical employment law expertise gained at a recognised employment practice
\n
• Be comfortable managing matters with appropriate supervision and taking ownership of client relationships
\n
• Possess excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
\n
• Enjoy working on complex, high-profile and often sensitive matters
\n
• Demonstrate commercial awareness and a genuine interest in developing a long-term career within a leading international firm
\n
