The Birmingham team is led by highly experienced employment partners with deep expertise across both contentious and non-contentious matters, supported by a strong leadership group of partners and directors. You’ll work closely with senior lawyers advising on complex strategic projects, including large-scale restructures, TUPE, outsourcing and sensitive employment issues.

The Role

• Leading Employment Tribunal claims, predominantly acting for respondents
\n
• Advising on disciplinaries, grievances, dismissals and workplace disputes
\n
• Supporting complex restructures, redundancies and strategic reorganisation projects
\n
• Advising on TUPE, outsourcing and corporate transactions
\n
• Drafting employment contracts, policies, restrictive covenants and settlement agreements
\n
• Advising on executive exits and sensitive reputational matters
\n
• Delivering client training and practical employment law advice
\n
• Collaborating with a national employment team on high-value client work
\n

The Candidate

\n
• Qualified Employment Solicitor with 1+ years PQE
\n
• Experience advising employer/respondent clients
\n
• Strong technical grounding across contentious and advisory matters
\n
• Confident communicator able to engage senior stakeholders
\n
• Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach
\n
• Organised with the ability to manage a varied caseload
\n
• Ambitious with an interest in developing client relationships
\n
• Collaborative team player who thrives in a high-performing culture
\n
