Job Description

A globally recognised design practice is seeking an Associate Architect to lead the design development and delivery of a prestigious twin-tower scheme in the Middle East.

\n

\n

Currently at RIBA Stage 2, the development comprises a luxury hotel and high-end residential apartments. You’ll work directly with the Principals, lead a talented project team and help shape an architecturally significant scheme through to delivery.

\n

\n

What you’ll be doing:

\n
    \n
  • Leading the design development of a large-scale mixed-use project
  • \n
  • Protecting the design vision while ensuring technical quality and buildability
  • \n
  • Managing and mentoring a team of architects and designers
  • \n
  • Coordinating consultants, clients and multidisciplinary teams
  • \n
  • Overseeing project documentation and supporting key design decisions
  • \n
\n

\n

What we’re looking for:

\n
    \n
  • Qualified Architect with approximately 10+ years’ experience
  • \n
  • Exceptional design portfolio combining creativity and technical rigour
  • \n
  • Experience delivering complex, large-scale projects
  • \n
  • High-rise, hospitality, residential or mixed-use experience
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of façades, atriums, material assemblies and tectonic detailing
  • \n
  • Experience developing design solutions through prototyping
  • \n
  • Confident team leadership and stakeholder-management skills
  • \n
  • Middle East project experience would be advantageous
  • \n
  • Rhino, Revit and Grasshopper skills are highly desirable
  • \n
\n

\n

The role offers a four-day office and one-day home-working pattern.

\n

\n

This is a rare opportunity to join a world-class studio and take a central role in delivering a project set to transform a city skyline.

\n

\n

Apply with your CV and portfolio, or get in touch for a confidential conversation.

*Where we indicate a band of PQE for a role, this indicates how long we would expect an architectural professional to take to gain the level of experience required in an appropriate context, however applications are encouraged from candidates who can demonstrate the required expertise, regardless of their exact number of years in practice.
