Interim Litigation Counsel (Disputes & Investigations)
\nMLA is working with a leading UK wealth management and financial services organisation seeking an experienced Interim Litigation Counsel to join its in-house legal team.
\nThis is a broad disputes-focused role advising senior stakeholders on a range of contentious and potentially contentious matters across the business. You will play a key role in managing legal, regulatory and reputational risk, while supporting the organisation's commercial objectives.
\nKey responsibilities include:

- Advising on litigation, disputes, investigations and regulatory matters. \n
- Supporting dispute avoidance, escalation and resolution strategies. \n
- Managing external counsel and overseeing significant contentious matters. \n
- Conducting internal investigations and advising on conduct and regulatory issues. \n
- Providing strategic advice on legal, regulatory and reputational risk. \n
- Working closely with senior business stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. \n
- Supporting incident management and complex commercial risk matters. \n
About you:
\n- \n
- UK qualified solicitor with significant disputes and investigations experience. \n
- Strong background gained in private practice, in-house, or a combination of both. \n
- Experience handling complex litigation, regulatory investigations and contentious risk matters. \n
- Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills. \n
- Financial services experience would be advantageous but is not essential. \n
