💷 From £43k - DOE + £4,000 Car Allowance + Mileage (Driving Licence and car essential)

📅 Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover – up to 12 months)

⏰ Full-time | 37.5 hours, Monday–Friday

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our team on a fixed-term basis. Supporting our Central & London Division, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our “Keeping Everyone Safe” (KES) approach is embedded across our nurseries and support functions.

This is a field-based role involving regular travel to sites across London and our Nurseries in the South of England.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with nursery teams to embed a strong health & safety culture
\n
• Conduct KES audits, monitor compliance, and drive continuous improvement
\n
• Support with incident and accident investigations
\n
• Help develop and implement policies, procedures, and risk assessments
\n
• Provide guidance on fire safety, DSE, COSHH, and RIDDOR compliance
\n
• Deliver coaching, training, and advice to managers and colleagues
\n
• Act as the main H&S contact for your division
\n
• Support wider H&S initiatives, reporting, and projects
\n

About You

You’ll be a proactive, confident H&S professional who thrives in a multi-site, people-focused environment.

Essential

\n
• NEBOSH General Certificate
\n
• Experience in a Health & Safety Advisor (or similar) role
\n
• Strong knowledge of risk assessments, fire safety, COSHH, RIDDOR, DSE
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
\n
• Multi-site environment experience
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n

Desirable

\n
• Experience in childcare, education, or retail - An advantage
\n
• IOSH (or working towards)
\n
• Training/coaching experience
\n

An enhanced DBS is required for this role.
