The Company:
\nOXBO are partnered with a fast-growing Renewable Energy IPP looking to hire a Assistant Project Manager to their collaborative and social Glasgow team.
\nAs Assistant Project Manager you will assist in the delivery of utility-scale Solar and BESS projects from pre-construction through to handover to O&M.

The Role:
\n- \n
- Support in management of overall delivery of multiple utility-scale Solar and BESS construction projects. \n
- Assist in the management of all aspects of projects, including Construction, Health & Safety, and quality standards across sites. \n
- Support and manage grid agreement interfaces, general engineering activities, procuring and contract administration. \n
- Proactively identify construction risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to protect programme and cost. \n
- Monitor and report deviations to scope, schedule, or budget, providing clear recommendations to senior stakeholders. \n
- Undertake development and O&M works in order to gain all round knowledge of project life cycles. \n
What you will bring:
\n- \n
- Minimum of 2 years experience within the renewable energy industry, within the development and delivery phases. \n
- Experience should be within Solar PV, Batter Storage (BESS) or Onshore wind projects (other industries with suitable transferrable skills will also be considered). \n
- Experience in contract preparation, negotiation and administration. \n
- Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland Construction, CDM, Health & Safety, and environmental regulations. \n
- Understanding of Grid operators and connection processes. \n
- Confident communicator with stakeholders and contractor management skills. \n
- Ability to manager several project tasks at once and able to plan and prioritise. \n
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site as required. \n
