Job Description
The Position
\nWe are looking for an Account Director with strong organic social media and content expertise to join our London team on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover), commencing in August 2026.
\nThis role is responsible for leading client relationships, delivering integrated communications programmes, and driving high-quality execution across a diverse portfolio of accounts. You'll play a key role in shaping and delivering organic social strategies, content programmes and audience engagement initiatives, providing strategic counsel and ensuring measurable business impact.
\nWorking within our Media & Influence team, you'll lead social-first programmes for clients across a range of sectors, including regulated industries, where the ability to navigate compliance requirements and translate complex topics into engaging content is essential.
\nAs a senior member of the team, you'll mentor colleagues, contribute to new business opportunities, and help foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
\nWhat You'll Do

- Lead day-to-day client relationships and oversee the delivery of integrated communications programmes. \n
- Develop and deliver organic social media strategies, content plans and channel management programmes. \n
- Oversee social content creation, editorial planning, community engagement and performance reporting. \n
- Provide strategic guidance on social media, content, audience engagement, platform trends and best practices. \n
- Translate complex or technical subject matter into compelling, audience-first content. \n
- Identify opportunities for clients and deliver insight-led recommendations that drive impact. \n
- Lead, mentor and support account teams, encouraging professional growth and collaboration. \n
- Manage account performance, budgets and resourcing to ensure successful delivery. \n
- Contribute to business development activity, including proposals and pitches. \n
- Support internal initiatives focused on learning, innovation and team development. \n
What You'll Need

- Proven experience leading organic social media programmes within an agency or consultancy environment. \n
- Strong expertise across social strategy, content development, channel management, community engagement and performance analysis. \n
- Demonstrated experience managing social channels and creating content that delivers measurable results. \n
- Excellent understanding of the evolving social media landscape, emerging platforms and audience behaviours. \n
- Ability to translate complex, technical or regulated subject matter into accessible and engaging content. \n
- Experience managing client relationships and providing strategic counsel to senior stakeholders. \n
- Strong project management skills with experience managing budgets, resources and multiple workstreams. \n
- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Experience working with healthcare, healthcare technology, financial services or other regulated sectors is advantageous. \n
- Experience with influencer marketing is a plus. \n
