Competitive Salary: Up to £65,000 plus car allowance

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced multi-site operational leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes for children whilst driving commercial performance, developing leaders and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

The Opportunity

\n


\n

Reporting directly to the Early Years Director, you'll oversee a portfolio of approximately 3 nurseries with plans for further acquisitions, providing strategic leadership across educational quality, safeguarding, operational excellence and financial performance.

\n


\n

Working closely with Nursery Managers, you'll coach and develop high-performing leadership teams, ensuring every setting consistently delivers exceptional care, education and outstanding experiences for children and families.

\n


\n

This is a highly influential role where you'll have genuine autonomy to shape performance, strengthen leadership capability and support the continued growth of a forward-thinking organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of nurseries.
  • \n
  • Coach, mentor and develop Nursery Managers to maximise performance.
  • \n
  • Drive improvements in educational quality and operational consistency.
  • \n
  • Lead safeguarding, compliance and quality assurance across the region.
  • \n
  • Analyse operational and commercial performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • \n
  • Take ownership of occupancy, budgets and financial sustainability.
  • \n
  • Build succession plans and develop future leaders.
  • \n
  • Foster a collaborative, values-driven culture focused on continuous improvement.

About You

\n

We're keen to speak with individuals who have:

  • Multi-site leadership experience within the Early Years sector.
  • \n
  • A proven track record of improving operational performance across multiple settings.
  • \n
  • Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets, occupancy and business performance.
  • \n
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • \n
  • Extensive knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted and regulatory compliance.
  • \n
  • A passion for delivering outstanding outcomes for children, families and colleagues.
  • \n
