The Role
\nRTA Litigation Paralegal – Manchester – Hybrid – Up to £34,000
\nA leading National firm is seeking an RTA Litigation Paralegal to join its award‑winning Manchester Motor team. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a varied caseload of litigated Motor matters within a market‑leading department acting for major insurers, TPAs, self‑insured organisations and commercial clients.
\nAs an RTA Litigation Paralegal in the Manchester team, you’ll manage a mixed Fast Track and Small Claims caseload, gain exposure to complex liability disputes, and work within a collaborative, well‑established team known for its technical expertise and supportive culture.
\nThe Role
\n• Managing a caseload of litigated RTA Fast Track and Small Claims matters
\n• Handling personal injury, credit hire and complex liability disputes
\n• Conducting detailed investigations into liability, quantum and evidence
\n• Drafting pleadings, correspondence and settlement documentation
\n• Working with the MOJ and OIC portals
\n• Liaising directly with clients, opponents and third parties
\n• Preparing files for hearings and progressing cases efficiently
\n• Supporting senior fee earners on more complex matters
\nThe Candidate
\n• Experience managing a litigated RTA Fast Track and Small Claims caseload
\n• Solid working knowledge of the MOJ and OIC portals
\n• Experience handling Credit Hire claims
\n• Good understanding of court procedures and the CPR
\n• Strong organisational and time‑management skills
\n• High attention to detail and strong legal insight
\n• Confident communicator with excellent client care skills
\n• Comfortable using case management systems and general IT
