\nThe organisation is looking to appoint a Senior Legal Counsel to take a leading role in negotiating high-value, strategically important commercial contracts. Working closely with senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will advise on complex customer and supplier relationships and support significant commercial initiatives across an international business.
\nThe role offers considerable responsibility, broad commercial exposure and the opportunity to influence important business decisions and the management of legal risk.
\nThe role responsibilities will include:
\nDrafting and negotiating high-value and complex commercial agreements.
\nAdvising senior stakeholders on contractual and commercial risk.
\nSupporting major customer relationships and new commercial opportunities.
\nAdvising on agreements involving technology, data and digital services.
\nCoordinating legal input across multiple jurisdictions.
\nSupporting the resolution of contractual issues and disputes.
\nHelping to develop efficient legal processes, guidance and ways of working.
\nThe successful candidate will be a qualified lawyer with at least five years’ relevant experience gained in private practice, in-house or a combination of the two.
\nYou will have substantial experience negotiating complex commercial contracts and be comfortable managing demanding matters at pace. Experience of international contracting, technology-related agreements or data protection would be helpful.
\nThis role will suit an assured and commercially minded lawyer who can identify the issues that matter, communicate risk clearly and work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to reach pragmatic solutions.
\nExcellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills will be essential.
\nThe position is based in London and operates on a hybrid-working basis.
