This Power BI Developer role offers the chance to work on a major reporting transformation, helping to shape how data is used across the business. They are a well-established UK business with a large customer base and a broad product portfolio. Following significant investment in technology and a recent ERP implementation, they are continuing to modernise their data and reporting capabilities. Data is a key strategic focus, and this role sits within a growing Business Transformation team dedicated to improving decision-making across the organisation.

The Role

\n

You will work alongside experienced data professionals to develop reporting solutions and support the evolution of a modern data platform.

\n

Responsibilities include:

\n
    \n
  • Designing, developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports and data models
  • \n
  • Creating DAX measures, visualisations and row-level security solutions
  • \n
  • Contributing to the development of a new Microsoft Fabric data platform
  • \n
  • Delivering ad hoc analysis and actionable insights for business stakeholders
  • \n
  • Validating data, documenting assumptions and supporting reporting quality improvements
  • \n
  • Working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions
  • \n
  • Supporting the wider data transformation programme through accurate and timely reporting
  • \n

Your Skills & Experience

\n
    \n
  • Strong commercial experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI
  • \n
  • Solid SQL skills for querying and analysing data
  • \n
  • Experience writing and optimising DAX measures
  • \n
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • \n
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
  • \n
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • \n
  • A detail-oriented approach to data validation and reporting accuracy
  • \n

Desirable experience:

    \n
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric
  • \n
  • Experience within wholesale, distribution or a similar operational environment
  • \n
  • Power BI certification (PL-300)
  • \n
  • Microsoft Fabric certifications such as DP-600 or DP-700
  • \n
