Investigator

We are currently recruiting for PPU/PVP Investigative Consultants based in Lincolnshire.

Rate of pay: £22 per hour (outside IR35)

Pay methods: Sole Trader, Limited company or via Umbrella PAYE

Location: Multiple locations across Lincolnshire

Hours: Full-time, part-time & compressed hours available

Contract: Temporary ongoing

Purpose: We are currently seeking Investigative Consultants to join our Peel Consultancy Team within the Protecting Vulnerable People Unit.

Duties:

\n
• Securing and reviewing evidence, including witness statements, CCTV, and documentary evidence.
\n
• Victim and Witness Support: Engaging with victims and witnesses in a sensitive and professional manner.
\n
• File Preparation: Assisting with the preparation of case file material and other operational documents.
\n
• Analysing phone and device download reviews.
\n
• Follow up outside enquiries
\n
• Use internal IT systems to research and maintain records regarding individuals and investigation
\n
• Maintain case progression timelines
\n
• Reduce missed opportunities, evidential errors or investigative delays
\n
• Safeguarding practice
\n
• Evidence Gathering
\n

Essential Experience:

\n
• Detective/PIP2 or equivalent experience
\n
• Experience within a Major Incidents Team or Public Protection Unit/Protecting Vulnerable People Unit
\n

Desirable Experience:

\n
• Experience interviewing and obtaining statements from vulnerable adults (ABE)
