\nI'm working with a growing engineering consultancy looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of key frameworks and infrastructure projects across the North.
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced commercial team, working closely with major utility clients and contractors to deliver high-quality commercial support across the full project lifecycle.
\n🔧 The Role:
\n• Support the delivery of infrastructure projects from inception through to completion
\n• Work closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors across a portfolio of major projects
\n• Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong and lasting relationships
\n• Manage projects using NEC3/NEC4 contracts
\n• Prepare estimates and cost plans
\n• Provide procurement advice and support tender documentation
\n• Administer contracts and manage project cost control
\n• Produce cost reports and prepare final accounts
\n• Attend client meetings and site visits across the North and Midlands
\n• Lead commercial activities across multiple projects while maintaining excellent client service
\n👤 What You'll Need:
\n• Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, utilities, engineering, or construction
\n• Strong working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts
\n• Post-contract commercial management experience
\n• Excellent project cost management and organisational skills
\n• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
\n⭐ Desirable Experience:
\n• Experience within the water industry or wider utilities sector
\n• Pre-contract experience including contract documentation
\n• Working towards MRICS or MCICES accreditation
