\nRecruitME is recruiting for an experienced Lead Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of planned works and property-improvement contracts across the North West.

- Take full commercial responsibility for multiple planned maintenance, refurbishment and retrofit contracts \n
- Lead, mentor and develop Quantity Surveyors, Assistant Quantity Surveyors, Graduates and Trainees \n
- Manage CVRs, WIP, forecasting, cost control, cash flow and commercial risk \n
- Oversee tendering, subcontractor procurement, valuations, payments and final accounts \n
- Work closely with operational teams to protect margins and improve contract performance \n
- Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders \n
- Maintain accurate commercial reporting and KPI performance \n
- Visit sites regularly to ensure commercial information reflects operational delivery \n
\nWhat were looking for\n
- \n
- At least five years Quantity Surveying experience \n
- Experience within social housing, planned works, refurbishment, property services or retrofit \n
- Previous responsibility for multiple contracts or high-volume workstreams \n
- Strong knowledge of CVRs, WIP, forecasting and cost reporting \n
- Experience managing subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts \n
- Strong commercial negotiation and client-management skills \n
- Confidence leading and developing junior commercial staff \n
- Full UK driving licence \n
A BSc in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline would be advantageous.
\nKnowledge of JCT, NEC or SBCC contracts, measurement software and advanced Excel would also be beneficial.

The role is based in Warrington and may be commutable from Manchester, Liverpool, Runcorn, Widnes, St Helens, Wigan, Altrincham, Knutsford, Northwich and surrounding areas.
