  Salary: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a specialist SEN school in Preston seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and complex SEND.

• \n

  Provide personal care, mobility, and sensory support for pupils with physical and learning needs.

\n
• \n

  Work 1:1 or in small groups to promote independence, communication, and wellbeing.

\n
• \n

  Support therapy programmes and use communication aids such as Makaton or PECS.

\n
• \n

  Work collaboratively with teachers, healthcare staff, and therapists.

\n

\n
• \n

  Experience in care, support work, or SEN education (PMLD or complex needs preferred).

\n
• \n

  Compassionate, reliable, and resilient with a calm, nurturing approach.

\n
• \n

  Comfortable assisting with personal care and medical routines (training provided).

\n
• \n

  Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

\n

• \n
