Accounts Assistant

Numbers make sense to you, and people matter too.

If you're the sort of person who enjoys keeping things organised, spotting when something doesn't add up, and getting satisfaction from solving problems, this could be a great move.

You'll work closely with an experienced Head of Finance, giving you plenty of exposure across the finance function rather than being pigeonholed into one repetitive task.

This is a role where you'll make an impact from day one. One minute you'll be reconciling accounts, the next you'll be resolving supplier queries or helping improve finance processes. - no two days are exactly the same.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing supplier and customer account queries
\n
• Reconciling accounts and transactions
\n
• Supporting credit control activities
\n
• Processing supplier invoices accurately
\n
• Matching bank transactions
\n
• Getting involved in a variety of finance tasks and projects as the business continues to grow
\n
• Running a small weekly and monthly payroll
\n

What do you need?

You don't need decades of experience, but you do need the right attitude.

You'll have some experience in an accounts or finance role and enjoy working in a busy environment where priorities can change.

You'll also have:

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong communication skills and confidence building relationships with colleagues and customers
\n
• A proactive approach to solving problems rather than waiting for someone else to fix them

• The ability to stay organised when things get busy
\n
