Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be recruiting exclusively on behalf of one of our long-standing engineering clients for a Maintenance Administrator to join their busy Maintenance team.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to join a well-established manufacturing business where you'll play a key role in supporting engineering operations. Working closely with the Facilities & Maintenance Manager and wider maintenance team, you'll be responsible for coordinating purchasing, budgets, reporting and departmental administration that helps keep the site running efficiently.

The Role

\n

As Maintenance Administrator, you'll provide vital administrative support to the Maintenance Department, ensuring processes run efficiently while supporting engineering performance through accurate reporting, purchasing and budget management.

\n

Key responsibilities include:

\n
    \n
  • Raising purchase requisitions, purchase orders and receipting invoices
  • \n
  • Managing maintenance purchasing activities and supplier quotations
  • \n
  • Monitoring departmental budgets, forecasting spend and producing cost analysis
  • \n
  • Maintaining engineering records and supporting the maintenance system
  • \n
  • Producing KPI reports and performance data for the Maintenance Manager
  • \n
  • Supporting analysis of engineering downtime to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • \n
  • Liaising with external contractors and internal departments across the business
  • \n
  • Supporting cost reduction projects and monitoring critical spare parts
  • \n
  • Providing general administrative support to the Maintenance team
  • \n

About You

\n

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent organisational skills and takes pride in producing accurate work.

\n

You'll ideally have:

\n
    \n
  • Previous administration experience within a busy department
  • \n
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment would be advantageous
  • \n
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • \n
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
  • \n
  • A proactive, positive approach with a willingness to learn and support continuous improvement
  • \n
