\n\nKey responsibilities of the Audit Manager:

- Leading the planning, execution, and completion of complex audit assignments, including group audits and owner-managed businesses (OMBs) \n
- Taking full ownership of audit engagements from initial planning through to completion \n
- Acting as the primary on-site client contact, managing queries and building strong relationships \n
- Producing high-quality, review-ready audit files to minimise Partner and Director involvement \n
- Managing team resources and capacity to ensure efficient delivery of audit assignments \n
- Supporting, mentoring, and developing junior team members \n
- Acting as a technical point of contact, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP \n
- Working across a flexible portfolio tailored to your expertise (audit-focused or mixed including statutory accounts and tax) \n
Profile
\nA successful Audit Manager should have:
\n- \n
- ACA or ACCA qualified \n
- Proven experience at Audit Manager or Assistant Manager level within practice \n
- Strong technical background in auditing, particularly within owner-managed businesses \n
- Experience leading audits and managing teams \n
- Ambitious, proactive, and keen to play a role in shaping a growing department \n
- Comfortable working in a hands-on role within a dynamic firm environment \n
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites (including occasional overnight stays) \n
