Interim HR Business Partner — Consulting / Professional Services6-month contract · Remote (with occasional London days) · Day rate DOE A well-established global professional services firm is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to step in for six months and take full ownership of the people agenda for one or more of its business sectors. This is a genuine partnering role, not a process one. You'd be the principal HRBP for your client groups, working alongside Partners and Sector Leads to shape and deliver their people plans. It's everything from workforce planning, talent and succession, and leadership capability through to performance, engagement, reward, promotions and people insight. You'll also manage an HR Advisor supporting across sectors, and work with colleagues outside the UK, so a bit of cultural and jurisdictional flex goes a long way. It's a broad, senior remit with real autonomy. You'll be trusted to handle complex employee relations independently, give pragmatic risk-based advice, support leaders through change and transformation, and use data to spot the risks and priorities worth acting on.This role has come up due to a few interim gaps within the team and will likely be 6 months in duration and they need someone experienced who can "hit the ground running".What they're looking for\n
    \n
  • c5+ years in HR, ideally in an HRBP or generalist capacity
  • \n
  • Substantial HRBP experience gained in professional services, consulting or a partnership type of environment
  • \n
  • Deep, hands-on employee relations expertise, you'll be confident managing complex, sensitive cases solo
  • \n
  • Strong grasp of UK employment law and the confidence to advise senior stakeholders through change
  • \n
  • Able to build credibility with Partners and senior leaders: someone who can coach, challenge and influence, not just advise, and you'll be comfortable doing this over TEAMS rather than relying on in person interactions.
  • \n
  • You'll be comfortable with ambiguity, matrixed working, and running several people initiatives at once.
  • \n
The practical details\n
    \n
  • Duration: 6 months, starting as soon as possible
