London (Hybrid, 2-3 days per week) | £110,000 - £125,000 + Benefits

The Role

\n

Working as part of a product team, you'll partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to help shape the future of AI-powered experiences.

\n

You will:

  • Analyse large-scale text, document, and conversation data to uncover patterns in user behaviour
  • \n
  • Apply NLP, semantic analysis, classification, and regression techniques to answer product questions
  • \n
  • Develop frameworks to evaluate AI performance and measure user outcomes
  • \n
  • Investigate prompts, model responses, and interaction data to understand what drives successful experiences
  • \n
  • Turn complex analysis into clear recommendations that influence product strategy and roadmap decisions
  • \n
  • Own projects end-to-end, from problem definition and data exploration through to modelling, insight generation, and stakeholder communication
  • \n
  • Design and evaluate experiments to support product development and feature launches
  • \n
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to improve user experience and business outcomes
  • \n
  • Help establish best practices for analysing unstructured and AI-generated data
  • \n

Your Skills & Experience

\n
    \n
  • Strong commercial experience working as a Data Scientist within a product team
  • \n
  • Hands-on experience analysing high-volume text, conversation, messaging, or document data
  • \n
  • Deep understanding of NLP, semantic analysis, or text-focused machine learning techniques
  • \n
  • Strong Python and SQL skills
  • \n
  • Experience applying statistical and machine learning methods such as classification and regression
  • \n
  • Proven ability to influence product decisions through data and experimentation
  • \n
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments where problems are not clearly defined from the outset
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
  • \n
  • Experience in AI-native, SaaS, enterprise software, or other product-led technology businesses is highly desirable
  • \n
