\nMacGregor Black are partnering with a leading business on the search for a Pricing Controller. This is a permanent role based in Wembley.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Lead pricing governance across Commercial, Category, Finance, Supply Chain and IT functions. \n
- Develop and implement pricing and promotional strategies that balance commercial growth with profitability. \n
- Partner with Category teams to establish pricing, promotions, key value items (KVIs) and supplier-funded initiatives. \n
- Collaborate with Finance to model pricing scenarios, validate margin performance and assess commercial impact. \n
- Work closely with Data & Analytics teams to enhance pricing models, reporting and performance measurement. \n
- Engage with Supply Chain teams to ensure promotional plans align with stock availability and operational capability. \n
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Pricing Analysts, fostering a high-performance culture. \n
- Champion continuous improvement in pricing processes, governance, reporting and promotional ROI. \n
- Represent the Pricing function within senior trading meetings and cross-functional steering groups. \n
- Support the implementation and adoption of new pricing tools and ways of working. \n
What We're Looking For:
\n- \n
- Minimum of seven years' experience within Pricing, Commercial, Revenue Management or Analytical roles. \n
- Experience gained within Retail, Wholesale, FMCG or Consumer Goods environments. \n
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to balance sales growth and margin optimisation. \n
- Experience building pricing models, scenario planning and analysing price elasticity. \n
- Advanced analytical skills with strong Excel capabilities and experience using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar. \n
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels. \n
- Previous experience leading, mentoring and developing analytical teams. \n
- Degree qualified in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Data Science or another quantitative discipline is advantageous. \n
