We're looking for a Senior Consultant – AI Engineer to join a growing AI & Data practice delivering cutting-edge AI, machine learning and Generative AI solutions for leading financial services organisations. This is an opportunity to work on high-profile transformation programmes, helping clients move from AI strategy and rapid prototyping through to enterprise-scale implementation.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Consultant, you'll work alongside AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Architects and client stakeholders to deliver innovative AI products and solutions across the Banking sector. You'll be responsible for:

• Designing and delivering AI-powered products, AI Agents and intelligent automation solutions
\n
• Building rapid prototypes and Proofs of Concept using the latest Generative AI technologies
\n
• Developing production-ready AI applications using Python and modern cloud platforms
\n
• Working with Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG architectures, embeddings and agent frameworks
\n
• Collaborating with engineering, architecture and business teams to translate requirements into scalable AI solutions
\n
• Supporting AI architecture, deployment patterns and technical design decisions
\n
• Helping clients adopt AI responsibly, considering governance, security and regulatory requirements
\n

Mentoring junior consultants and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team culture

What we're looking for

\n
• We're keen to speak with AI Engineers, Applied AI Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers and Senior Data Scientists who have experience delivering AI solutions within a consultancy or financial services environment.
\n

You'll ideally have experience with:

\n
• Python and SQL
\n
• Large Language Models (LLMs)Prompt engineering, fine-tuning and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
\n
• LangChain, LangGraph or similar agent frameworks
\n
• Vector databases such as Pinecone, Chroma or FAISS
\n
• AI Agents and Generative AI applications
\n
• Cloud platforms including AWS and/or Azure
\n
• Modern ML pipelines and MLOps practices
\n
• Agile delivery methodologies
\n

Experience working within Banking, Financial Services or a technology consultancy would be highly advantageous.
