\nI'm currently working with a leading global private markets investment firm, as they continue to invest in and expand their internal data capability. With over €20 billion of assets under management and investment strategies spanning Europe and North America, they are committed to using technology and data to drive smarter decision-making and long-term value creation.
\nAs part of an exciting period of growth, they're looking to hire a Senior Analytics Engineer to play a key role in building out their data function. You'll help shape the firm's modern analytics platform, working across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and AI-enabled solutions to deliver trusted, scalable data products that support investment teams and business stakeholders.

\nKey Responsibilities

- Design, build and maintain scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric. \n
- Develop robust ELT/ETL pipelines and data models to support reporting and analytics. \n
- Deliver high-quality Power BI dashboards and semantic models for business users. \n
- Champion data governance, data quality and best practices across the organisation. \n
- Work closely with investment, finance and operational stakeholders to understand business requirements. \n
- Help establish a trusted, centralised data platform and single source of truth. \n
- Explore and implement AI-driven capabilities to improve reporting, automation and business insight. \n
- Optimise performance, reliability and scalability across the analytics environment. \n
- Produce clear technical documentation and promote engineering best practices. \n
- Support the continued growth and maturity of the wider data function. \n
Essential Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Previous experience as an Analytics Engineer, BI Engineer, Analytics Developer or similar. \n
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric. \n
- Advanced SQL skills and experience designing scalable data models. \n
- Strong Power BI development experience, including semantic modelling and DAX. \n
- Good understanding of data governance, data quality and metadata management. \n
- Experience building modern data platforms and analytics solutions. \n
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. \n
- Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. \n
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms. \n
Desirable Skills
\n- \n
- Experience within Asset Management, Private Equity, Financial Services or another regulated environment. \n
- Exposure to AI technologies, Copilot or Generative AI use cases within analytics. \n
- Knowledge of data architecture and modern Microsoft data technologies. \n
- Experience implementing governance frameworks and best practices. \n
- Understanding of security, compliance and data privacy within enterprise environments. \n
- Passion for building data capabilities within a growing team. \n
