We are supporting a major UK defence programme with the appointment of an experienced Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to provide interim support on a high-profile and complex portfolio.

Working within a highly regulated environment, you will play a key role in driving procurement strategy, managing supplier relationships and supporting the successful delivery of critical programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities across complex categories and work packages.
\n
• Negotiate and manage high-value contracts with key suppliers.
\n
• Drive commercial outcomes while ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
\n
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
\n
• Support supplier performance, risk management and contract change activities.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve value, resilience and supply chain performance.
\n
• Work closely with programme teams to ensure procurement activities align with delivery objectives.
\n

Experience Required

\n
• Strong procurement and supply chain experience gained within the Defence sector.
\n
• Proven track record of contract negotiation and contract management.
\n
• Experience managing complex supplier relationships and delivering strategic sourcing activities.
\n
• Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
\n
• Understanding of governance and compliance requirements within highly regulated environments.
\n
• Active UK Security Clearance (SC or above) is essential.
\n
