OXBO are partnered with a fast-growing Renewable Energy IPP looking to hire a Procurement Manager to their growing team in Glasgow.

As Procurement Manager you will support the development and delivery of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects by leading the commercial procurement, supply chain and contract strategy functions.

What you will be doing:

\n
    \n
  • Lead the procurement of key project packages, from commercial strategy and tendering through to supplier selection and contract negotiation.
  • \n
  • Develop and implement procurement and contract strategies for major electrical and balance of plant (BoP) scopes.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with engineering, grid, finance, legal and project delivery teams to optimise commercial outcomes and manage project risk.
  • \n
  • Support the successful delivery of renewable energy projects by ensuring procurement activities align with project timelines, budgets and investment requirements.
  • \n
  • Manage supplier relationships throughout project delivery, including commercial performance, contract variations, milestone tracking and payment management.
  • \n
  • Evaluate tender submissions and negotiate commercial terms to achieve best value and support project bankability.
  • \n
  • Contribute to wider commercial and project delivery activities, providing support to senior team members and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

What you will bring:

\n
    \n
  • 5+ years' experience in procurement, commercial management or contract administration within renewable energy or major infrastructure sectors.
  • \n
  • Degree-level qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
  • \n
  • Experience procuring high-value equipment or construction packages.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of EPC, EPC-M and multi-package contracting models.
  • \n
  • Experience managing tender processes, commercial evaluations and contract negotiations.
  • \n
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships and identify commercial efficiencies.
  • \n
  • Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
