Project Manager - HV Cable Infrastructure

IR35 Status: Outside

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of HV engineering projects, ensuring programmes, budgets, quality and project scope are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

\n
• Managing project programmes, budgets and scope changes
\n
• Overseeing project quality, safety and compliance
\n
• Coordinating designers, consultants, surveyors, construction teams and suppliers
\n
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
\n
• Ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and industry standards
\n
• Supporting the successful delivery of a major 132kV cable route project
\n

Key Requirements:

\n
• Proven experience delivering HV/EHV engineering or utilities projects
\n
• Experience managing programmes, budgets, quality and project delivery
\n
• A strong understanding of CDM Regulations
\n
• Streetworks and highways experience
\n
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
\n
• The ability to work independently while coordinating multidisciplinary teams
\n

Highly Desirable:

\n
• High voltage cable project experience (132kV, 66kV or 33kV)
\n
• NEC contract experience
\n
• Cable route project experience
\n
• Civil engineering background
\n
