Corporate Insurance Solicitor | £130k+ | Legal 100 | London

Top Global law firm, recognised as a tier 1 in the legal rankings is requiring an experienced solicitor to join their established, and expanding, insurance team. The firm is sector focused and has offices around the globe in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia.

The role:

This is a senior solicitor, working closely with the partners and wider team on a range of corporate and insurance regulatory work.

Requirements:

\n
• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with ideally 4+ PQE (all levels will be considered on a case by case basis)
\n
• Excellent experience in corporate and insurance regulatory matters is a must (candidate with only strong corporate experience will also be considered, as they have a good regulatory experience elsewhere in the team)
\n
• Strong client relationship management skills
\n

Key responsibilities:

\n
• Working on a busy caseload of corporate, commercial and regulatory matters, with a focus on the London market and non-life insurance and reinsurance matters
\n
• Clients include the full range from brand name multinationals, starts ups, insurers and investors
\n
• Cases will be primarily transactional, commercial and advisory work including both domestic and international matters. Matters may include insurance mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance (including capital raising, flotations and takeovers), financial services advice, joint ventures, restructurings, capital raisings, distribution arrangements, equity investments and other insurance/reinsurance & regulatory matters

• Play a important role in business development and client relationship management
