Fabrication Supervisor

Location: Portrush, Northern Ireland

Salary: £52,000 – £60,000 + Overtime + Relocation Payment

NEOS Engineering Recruitment are recruiting a Fabrication Supervisor for a rapidly expanding engineering and manufacturing business based near Portrush

.This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing a busy fabrication department, coordinating skilled tradespeople and ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the required standards

The Role

• Supervise daily fabrication and welding activities
\n
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of fabricators and welders
\n
• Allocate workloads and monitor production deadlines
\n
• Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications
\n
• Ensure work meets dimensional, welding and quality standards
\n
• Coordinate with production, materials and quality teams
\n
• Monitor productivity and identify production improvements
\n
• Maintain excellent health and safety standards
\n
• Support recruitment, training and performance management.
\n

The Candidate

\n
• Strong fabrication and welding background
\n
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
\n
• Able to interpret detailed engineering drawings
\n
• Good understanding of structural steel fabrication
\n
• Strong communication and people-management skills
\n
• Knowledge of welding procedures and production planning
\n
• Experience within modular, structural steel or heavy manufacturing is beneficial
\n
