\nAbout the Role
\nWe are seeking an experienced Commodities Trading C# Developer to join a London-based core development team within a leading global markets environment. This role focuses on building and delivering critical technology solutions that support the full lifecycle of commodities derivatives trading — from pre-trade through to risk, pricing, and post-trade processing.
\nYou will play a key role in enhancing trading platforms, improving system performance and scalability, and delivering robust solutions aligned with front office and risk stakeholders.

The technology team is central to enabling this coverage through high-performing, scalable, and resilient trading systems.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Design, develop, and deliver core functionality for the Commodities Derivatives platform \n
- Build scalable and high-performance systems supporting pricing, risk, and trading workflows \n
- Ensure platform stability through rigorous testing and release management \n
- Collaborate with front office, trading, and risk teams to deliver business-critical solutions \n
- Contribute to system architecture improvements, reducing complexity and increasing resilience \n
- Follow best practices across: \n
- Code reviews \n
- Release governance \n
- Source control and CI/CD pipelines \n
- Support production systems and ensure ongoing reliability and maintainability \n
Required Skills & Experience
\nEssential
\n- \n
- Expert-level development experience in C# / .NET \n
- Strong experience with SQL Server \n
- Proven experience working with service-based architectures (REST, gRPC, web technologies) \n
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and multithreading \n
- Experience with messaging middleware (e.g., IBM MQ or similar) \n
- Experience working with front office, trading, or risk stakeholders \n
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with a focus on performance and scalability \n
Desirable

- Knowledge of financial markets and instruments, particularly commodities or derivatives \n
- Experience with pricing and risk systems \n
- Exposure to electronic trading platforms \n
- Experience across asset classes (e.g., FX, Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities) \n
