\nLocation: London - site-based across our estate, 5 days a week, mon - fri
\nReporting Line: Head of Facilities
\nWe're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Manager to join the team. We currently operate 7 restaurants, with new openings planned in the future.
\nThe role has three core parts:
\n- \n
- Delivering both planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance across our sites yourself, to a consistently high standard \n
- Coordinating external contractors on the more complex or specialist jobs, then overseeing and signing off their work \n
- Managing and supporting our Maintenance Technician day-to-day, allocating tasks across the estate \n
This is a fully site-based role across our estate and office, with no set remote working days.
\nRole requirements:
\n- \n
- A recognised trade background with strong all-round practical skills \n
- Running a structured PPM programme across all sites - identifying defects promptly and keeping the estate in excellent condition with minimal downtime \n
- Carrying out reactive maintenance across the estate - carpentry, tiling, plumbing and drainage, painting and decorating, proofing, furniture repairs, refrigeration, catering equipment and HVAC - safely and to a high standard of finish \n
- Sourcing materials and supplies for planned and reactive works - researching products, obtaining quotes where required, and ensuring timely availability within budget \n
- Managing statutory compliance across the estate - fire safety, electrical, gas, water and lifts - keeping certification up to date, inspections scheduled and remedial actions tracked through to completion \n
- Managing and prioritising your own task list independently across multiple sites, balancing planned and reactive works \n
- Recognising when a job is more complex or specialist, liaising with external contractors, overseeing their works on site and signing off completed jobs \n
- Managing and supporting the Maintenance Technician - overseeing their rota, allocating and prioritising tasks, and providing guidance to ensure consistent standards \n
- Recording everything and managing the full admin side - logging, tracking, approvals and records - through Access Maintain, Microsoft Teams and Notion \n
- Working within delegated maintenance budgets and taking ownership of tools and equipment across the estate \n
- Championing a repair-first approach - extending the life of furniture, fixtures and equipment, and identifying opportunities to reduce energy consumption and waste \n
Ideal candidate:
\n- \n
- Previous multi-site maintenance experience, ideally within hospitality, retail or leisure \n
- Equally comfortable executing day-to-day maintenance to a high standard yourself and juggling third-party contractors on the more complex jobs \n
- Comfortable managing compliance, certification and inspection schedules across multiple sites \n
- Obsessive about detail and the quality of the finish \n
- Naturally organised - plans ahead, sets priorities and keeps multiple sites moving \n
- Strong at follow-up, accountability and over-communication, so nothing slips through the cracks \n
- A confident communicator who builds strong relationships with restaurant managers, Ops, the Property Team and contractors \n
- Calm under pressure, with a positive, can-do attitude \n
- Thrives in highly active, fast-paced environments \n
- Passionate about restaurants, food, culture and hospitality \n
What we offer:

- Extra day's holiday every year you're with us, up to 5 extra days \n
- Wide range of benefits from Hospitality Action \n
- Company sick pay after one year of service \n
