Fire Door Site Manager – Permanent Location: Birmingham & Surrounding Areas Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire Door Site Manager to join a well-established and growing passive fire protection contractor delivering fire door installation and remedial works across Birmingham and the surrounding areas. The business has a strong pipeline of secured social housing contracts, with multiple live sites running concurrently and a long-term programme of works offering genuine stability and progression. This is a permanent position for someone who takes pride in delivering fire door works to a consistently high standard and wants to be part of a business that values quality, compliance and strong client relationships. The Role As Fire Door Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of fire door installation and remedial works across multiple social housing sites in Birmingham. You will manage operatives and subcontractors on site, oversee quality and compliance, and act as the key point of contact between site teams, clients and the wider project team. Key Responsibilities * Manage day-to-day site operations across multiple fire door projects within social housing environments in Birmingham * Supervise and coordinate operatives and subcontractors across concurrent live sites * Ensure all works are completed in line with fire door compliance standards including BM TRADA, FIRAS and IFC requirements * Carry out pre and post works inspections and quality checks throughout the programme * Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and ensure full health and safety compliance * Liaise professionally with clients, residents and site contacts throughout the works * Manage materials, deliveries and site logistics across multiple locations * Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and compliance documentation * Ensure works are delivered on time and within budget across all sites * Support the development of operatives on site What We're Looking For * Proven experience as a Site Manager within fire door installation or passive fire protection * Strong technical knowledge of fire door compliance standards including BM TRADA, FIRAS and IFC * Experience managing multiple social housing sites simultaneously — essential * Experience working within occupied residential environments * SMSTS — required * CSCS Card — required * First Aid — required * Full UK Driving Licence — required * Asbestos Awareness — desirable * BM TRADA or FIRAS accreditation — desirable What's On Offer * £45,000 – £50,000 per annum * Bonuses * Permanent position with long-term stability * Strong pipeline of secured social housing fire door works across Birmingham * Multiple concurrent sites offering variety and progression * Supportive management structure within a growing business
