Site Supervisor in London

Location: London Job Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive, based on experience About the Role We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Site Supervisor for a leading construction company across sites in London. This is a practical role for someone who leads by example, is comfortable getting involved on the tools when required, and can effectively manage day-to-day site operations. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard while coordinating trades, maintaining quality, and keeping work progressing smoothly. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily site activities and coordinate subcontractors and trades. Lead by example and assist with practical site work when required. Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with health and safety regulations. Monitor quality standards and resolve on-site issues quickly. Plan workloads and ensure projects remain on schedule. Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, suppliers, and site teams. Carry out site inspections and maintain accurate site records. Order and manage materials and equipment as needed. Requirements Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, or similar role. Strong practical construction background with the ability to work hands-on. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Good organisational and problem-solving abilities. Valid CSCS card (essential)Gold or Black First aid Fire Marshal SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
