Painter (Lancaster)

Your new company Hays Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a busy social housing maintenance contract covering properties throughout Lancaster. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled painter looking for long-term, consistent work carrying out planned and responsive decorating works within tenanted and voided social housing properties. Your new role As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for: Internal and external painting and decorating works Preparing surfaces including filling, sanding and making good Emulsion and gloss painting Decorating void and occupied properties Carrying out minor repairs prior to painting Ensuring work is completed to a high standard Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Providing excellent customer service when working in tenants' homesWhat you'll need to succeed Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator Experience working within social housing, domestic maintenance or property repairs Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Good knowledge of health and safety procedures Full UK Driving Licence preferred Own tools requiredWhat you'll get in return Long term contract Opportunity for further work Work with a well-established contractorWhat you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
