Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer
\nAre you a Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer with experience commissioning and fault-finding on a range of fire alarm systems If so, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering business that values quality workmanship and invests in its people. \nKey Responsibilities
\n\n- \n
- Commission a wide range of fire alarm systems, including conventional, two-wire, addressable and wireless systems. \n
- Diagnose and resolve faults across fire alarm systems. \n
- Program fire alarm control panels both on-site and remotely. \n
- Service and maintain fire alarm systems. \n
- Carry out servicing and maintenance of emergency lighting systems. \n
- Service and maintain AOV systems. \n
- Respond to emergency call-outs and complete remedial works where required. \n
- Support commissioning and servicing of additional life safety systems where qualified. \n
Skills & Knowledge Required
\n\n- \n
- Previous experience as a Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer. \n
- Strong knowledge of BS5839 and BS5266. \n
- Ability to commission a variety of fire alarm systems. \n
- Experience with fault-finding, programming and servicing. \n
- FIA and BAFE modules or accreditations are advantageous. \n
- Good understanding of health and safety, including working at height, manual handling and asbestos awareness. \n
- Full UK driving licence preferred. \n
