The role of Management Accountant in Newark is key to supporting the accounting and finance function.

  • Prepare and maintain monthly management accounts and financial reports.

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning.

  • Reconcile balance sheets and manage financial controls.
  • \n
  • Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors.
  • \n
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • \n
  • Assist with cash flow management and cost control measures.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with different departments to provide financial guidance and support.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

\n

  • Part-qualified status in a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • \n
  • Able to commute to our client's office in Newark.
  • \n
  • Strong technical accounting skills and an analytical mindset.
  • \n
  • Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
  • \n
  • Confidence in working with financial systems and Excel.
  • \n
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000, dependent on the level of experience.

  • Discretionary bonus.
