Regional Electrical Service Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Services Division are supporting a South Yorkshire based Engineering Services company to recruit a Regional Electrical Service Engineer.The Electrical Service Engineer is a critical role as part of growth and succession planning and will ultimately evolve into a Lead Engineer to take over the running of the Service Department.The Electrical Service Engineer role and responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining industrial machinery
\n
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults, with some mechanical repair work where required
\n
• Carrying out maintenance and breakdown repairs both in our workshop and at customer premises (mostly South Yorkshire based)
\n
• Installing and commissioning new equipment
\n
• Providing first-class technical support and customer service
\n
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
\n

Skills and Experience Required for the Electrical Service Engineer include:

\n
• Electrically qualified with strong electrical fault-finding experience
\n
• Confident reading electrical schematics and using diagnostic equipment
\n
• Comfortable working on industrial electrical machinery
\n
• Practical, organised and able to work independently
\n
• Excellent communication skills and friendly and professional with customers
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
