\nSalary: £28,000-£32,000 per annum
\nLocation: Birmingham - Hybrid (Primarily Home-Based)
\nHours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (35 hours per week)
\nContract: Permanent, Full-Time
\nNJR Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a growing and forward-thinking Independent Financial Adviser firm who have an excellent opportunity as a result of organic growth for an experienced IFA Administrator to join their team.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Services Administrator looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive environment. Working closely with Advisers, clients and colleagues, you will play a key role in delivering efficient administration, exceptional client service and positive client outcomes.
\nThe role is primarily home-based, with occasional attendance required for meetings, training and team collaboration.

- Salary of £32,000 - £34,000 depending on experience. \n

The Role
\nAs an IFA Administrator, you will provide high-quality administrative support across a range of pensions, investments and protection cases, ensuring all client work is handled accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
\nKey responsibilities include:
\nClient Administration
\n- \n
- Obtaining policy information, valuations, illustrations and provider documentation. \n
- Processing Letters of Authority and client documentation. \n
- Preparing and submitting new business applications. \n
- Liaising with providers, platforms and third parties to progress client cases. \n
- Monitoring outstanding business and proactively following up with providers. \n
- Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring documentation is complete. \n
- Managing cases through to completion within agreed timescales. \n
Adviser Support
\n- \n
- Providing ongoing administrative support to Financial Advisers. \n
- Assisting with client servicing and case management. \n
- Supporting advisers in delivering excellent client outcomes. \n
- Handling client queries professionally and efficiently. \n
- Contributing to improvements in service standards and processes. \n
Compliance & Quality
\n- \n
- Completing Anti-Money Laundering and client verification checks. \n
- Ensuring all records and documentation meet regulatory standards. \n
- Maintaining excellent attention to detail across all administration tasks. \n
- Supporting internal quality checks and compliance processes. \n
- Working in line with FCA regulations and Consumer Duty principles. \n
Team Contribution

About You
\nThe successful candidate will have:
\n- \n
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a Financial Services administration role. \n
- Experience working within a regulated environment. \n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. \n
- The ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team member. \n
- Strong IT skills and confidence using business systems. \n
Ideally, you will also have:
\n- \n
- Experience within an IFA practice, wealth management firm, platform or provider environment. \n
- Knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products. \n
- Experience using Intelligent Office (iO) or similar back-office systems. \n
- Progress towards, or completion of, relevant financial services qualifications. \n
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within Financial Services. \n
