Warehouse Operative

Location: Darlington Pay Rate: £14.58 per hour Weekly Pay (Every Friday)

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for several Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our client based in Darlington. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and fast-growing warehouse operation where no two days are the same. This role is a temporary to permanent role with a twelve week probation period.

• 5:00am start until finish
\n
• Approximately 6 to 8 hours per shift, depending on business requirements
\n
• 5 days out of 7
\n
• Includes weekend working on a rotating basis:\n
  \n
  • 2 weekends working
  \n
  • 1 weekend off
  \n
\n

\n
• Receiving and processing incoming pallets
\n
• Organising and maintaining warehouse inventory
\n
• Carrying out quality control checks on incoming goods
\n
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
\n
• Operating warehouse equipment, including pump trucks
\n
• Following all health and safety procedures
\n
• Supporting with additional warehouse duties as required
\n

\n
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred
\n
• Ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Strong organisational and time management skills
\n
• Excellent attention to detail
\n
• Good communication skills
\n
• Understanding of warehouse processes and procedures
\n
• Forklift certification would be advantageous but is not essential
\n

Please be aware that drug and alcohol testing will be conducted prior to starting this role and may be carried out randomly throughout your assignment.
