Warehouse / Customer Fitting & Repairs Operative
Job Description
Reed is supporting a well-established Bristol-based manufacturing business with the recruitment of a Warehouse / Customer Fitting & Repairs Operative to join their growing team.
\nThis is not a standard warehouse role. While some weeks will be spent entirely within the warehouse, you'll also be part of a customer fitting and repairs rota covering sites across the UK and occasionally Europe. The additional earnings generated through this work mean current team members have achieved annual earnings of approximately £45,500 to £50,000 per year.
\nThe role is split between warehouse duties and attending customer sites to fit, replace and repair specialist textile products on commercial machinery.
\nNo engineering qualifications are required. Full training will be provided. We're looking for practical individuals who are comfortable using basic hand tools and enjoy varied work.

- International travel is available, typically 3-4 trips per year. \n
Please note: Some customers cannot shut down machinery during the working week, meaning some weekend work is required. In most cases this would be one day of the weekend rather than both days, meaning there may be occasional weeks where you work a 6-day week.
