Are you a practical engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving and working with customers?

\n

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer based in Poole, who designs and supports specialist industrial ultrasonic equipment used by customers across a variety of industries. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a Field Service Engineer to join their friendly and experienced team.

\n

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll split your time between customer sites and the company's workshop, servicing, repairing, calibrating and installing specialist equipment. Full product training will be provided, so previous experience with ultrasonic equipment isn't essential.

The Role\n

As a Field Service Engineer, you will:

  • Service, fault find, diagnose and repair specialist industrial equipment.
  • \n
  • Carry out calibration, testing and commissioning at customer sites and within the workshop.
  • \n
  • Install new equipment and provide technical support and training to customers where required.
  • \n
  • Complete service reports and associated documentation.
  • \n
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company quality standards.
  • \n
  • Travel throughout the UK, with occasional international travel.
  • \n
About You\n

We're keen to hear from engineers with mechanical, electrical or electro-mechanical experience gained within field service, manufacturing, industrial maintenance or similar engineering environments.

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Experience fault finding and repairing mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
  • \n
  • A practical, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • \n
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to work directly with customers.
  • \n
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a supportive team.
  • \n
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • \n
