\nWe are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy and collaborative people team, supporting managers and employees across a broad range of HR matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive HR generalist who enjoys building relationships, providing practical advice, and driving positive people outcomes.
\nThe Role
\nReporting into the senior HR team, you'll provide expert advice and support across the full employee lifecycle, including:
\n- \n
- Employee relations case management including absence, disciplinary, grievance and redundancy matters \n
- Recruitment and selection support \n
- Performance management guidance and coaching \n
- Employee wellbeing initiatives \n
- Organisational change and service redesign projects \n
- HR policy development and review \n
- Delivery of HR training and manager briefings \n
- Producing and analysing HR data and management information \n
- Supporting payroll processes and wider people projects \n
You'll work closely with managers across the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor and helping to ensure employment legislation, policies and best practice are applied consistently.
\nAbout You
\nTo be successful, you'll have:
\n- \n
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) \n
- Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisory role \n
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations \n
- Experience coaching and influencing managers \n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills \n
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a pragmatic approach \n
- Experience reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures \n
Desirable: Exposure to working in a public sector and/or unionised environment.
