This is an exciting opportunity for a technical leader who enjoys developing people, and driving project success. Working across a variety of infrastructure projects, you'll lead a team responsible for the design of highways and drainage schemes, with a particular emphasis on drainage design, which forms the majority of the team's workload.The Role Responsible for leading a team of engineers while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards. You'll play a key role in resource planning, mentoring team members, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues across the business.Responsibilities:\n

• Manage the successful delivery of multiple civil engineering projects.
\n
• Oversee the design of highways and drainage schemes, with a strong emphasis on drainage.
\n
• Plan and coordinate resources across multiple projects.
\n
• Attend resource planning meetings and contribute to project scheduling.
\n
• Assist in fee management, project appointments, and service negotiations.
\n
• Review and approve team timesheets and annual leave requests.
\n
• Conduct regular team meetings, appraisals, and performance reviews.
\n
• Support the professional and personal development of your team.
\n

Ideal requirements:\n

\n
• Proven experience leading a Civil Engineering team.
\n
• Strong background in civil infrastructure design, particularly drainage.
\n
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
\n
• Experience using:

• MicroDrainage
\n
• Civil 3D
\n
• AutoCAD
\n
\n
