Credit Controller (Part Time)

RG Consultancy are working with a very well-established SME in Wrexham who are recruiting for Credit Controller to join their small accounts team on a part-time basis.

Role Responsibilities

\n
• Manage the credit control for an SME along with sales ledger and maintain accurate customer accounts
\n
• Chase outstanding payments via phone calls and email
\n
• Allocate payments and reconcile customer accounts
\n
• Resolve invoice queries and payment disputes
\n
• Assess new customer accounts and monitor credit limits
\n
• Produce aged debt reports and monitor overdue accounts
\n
• Work with internal teams to resolve account issues
\n
• Negotiate payment plans if and when appropriate
\n
• Support month-end processes and maintain accurate records
\n
• Assist with general finance duties as required
\n

Person Specification

\n
• Previous experience working within a Credit Control, Sales Ledger or similar role
\n
• An AAT or credit management qualification would be an advantage, however not essential
\n
• Experience within a manufacturing or similar business is an advantage
\n
• Strong communication and customer service skills, over the phone and by email
\n
• Strong IT skills including accounting software and MS Excel
