Project Manager

To manage the A/E and CM partners executing the project to assure safe, compliant, on time and on budget execution we are looking for a Senior Project Manager.

Project scope

\n
• The project timing is 16 months (for initial phase with potential extension for subsequent phase)
\n
• Retrofit of existing warehouse space (~15K sf) into a GMP Packaging Operation (1 Packaging Line only)
\n
• Admin Area
\n
• Packaging Area (CNC) with gowning (packaging line already ordered and FAT planned in Feb '27
\n
• Small 2-8 Deg C cold room for temporary storage
\n
• Ambient GMP Warehouse for components storage
\n
• Utilities
\n
• Packaging line (1 of) - 400 V 3-phase 50.60 Hz and 230 V 1phase 50/60 Hz
\n
• Compressed Air 120 psi to support the line + other users
\n
• HVAC Units for Admin, CNC space & Ambient Warehouse space (DX units likely so no chillers)
\n

Key responsibilities

\n
• Responsible for project charter development, definition and scope clarity, milestone identification, project planning, risk identification & mitigation, project execution, project controls, project governance, handover and project closeout
\n
• Responsible for the development and update of project management plans for all assigned projects
\n
• Responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within approved budget and to agreed quality
\n
• Responsible for regular accurate progress reports, and clear communication of same, both internally and externally to the client
\n
• Responsible for effective stakeholder management, both internally within the client
\n
• Responsible for project risk management and generation of mitigating plans and implementation
\n
• Managing multi-disciplinary team(s) to achieve the project objectives and ensuring coordination and development
\n
• Responsible for compliance with client procedures and Quality Standards
\n
• Implementation of existing system tools and champion of new initiatives
\n
• Maintenance of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
\n
• Providing clear and concise communications, in accordance with the Project Communication Plan
\n
• Review of vendor and contract packages and managing contractor relationships, including dispute resolution
\n
• Review and management of cost estimate(s), cost reports and managing cost trends
\n
• Efficient change management and control of project scope and related costs
\n

Profile

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering or architecture
\n
• Minimum of 8 years in the Life Sciences industry with a minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience
\n
• Experience in delivering CAPEX projects
\n
• Appropriate project management qualification (PMP preferable but not essential)
\n
• Demonstrated experience managing cross functional, multi discipline teams
\n
