Job Description
Key Responsibilities
\n1. International Trade & Documentation
\n- \n
- Prepare and manage all transit documentation for machines and spare parts from origin to destination. \n
- Expertly review and prepare documents under Letters of Credit (LC) terms for export. \n
- Manage Duty and VAT payments for imports from China, ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations. \n
- Stay current on import declarations and transport regulations within the UK and Ireland. \n
2. Shipment Coordination & Monitoring

- Provide end-to-end monitoring of cargo (Import/Export/Local) and maintain real-time tracking reports. \n
- Liaise with the China export team, product lines, and logistics providers to optimize delivery timelines. \n
- Coordinate directly with shipping lines, ports, brokers, and haulage companies to ensure on-time delivery. \n
- Collaborate with the EU Logistics Team for cross-regional and intra-subsidiary movements. \n
3. Commercial & Compliance

- Negotiate shipping quotations with a focus on balancing cost-efficiency with service commitments under time-sensitive pressure. \n
- Ensure every shipment adheres to strict logistics compliance standards. \n
- Support emerging regulatory requirements, including Carbon Emission compliance and CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) reporting. \n
Requirements:

- Proven experience in import/export and heavy machinery transportation. \n
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, or a related field. \n
- Highly organized with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines. \n
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach. \n
- Excellent problem-solving abilities. \n
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email communication. \n
- Fluent in English communication. \n
