Mechanical Project Manager

Mechanical Project Manager | Leicestershire | Up to £85,000 + Travel

I'm currently partnering with a well-established £50M+ turnover M&E contractor who have secured a flagship new build project in Leicestershire. With a project valuation of £10M+, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the mechanical package on a major, technically challenging project, working from pre-construction through to commissioning and final handover. You'll play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of the mechanical package from inception to completion.
\n
• Manage mechanical subcontractors and site teams.
\n
• Oversee procurement, programme management and resource planning.
\n
• Coordinate design development and resolve technical issues.
\n
• Work closely with the commercial team to monitor budgets, variations and project performance.
\n
• Ensure compliance with H&S legislation, QA procedures and client specifications.
\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the client, consultants and wider project team.
\n
• Lead commissioning activities and support a successful project handover.
\n

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience delivering mechanical building services packages on major construction projects.
\n
• Strong understanding of HVAC, public health and mechanical installations.
\n
• Experience managing programmes, subcontractors and project budgets.
\n
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
\n
• A proactive approach with the ability to drive projects to successful completion.
\n

💷 MEP Value: £10M+

📅 Programme: 80 Weeks

Package:

💰 Up to £85,000 (PAYE)

💷 Or up to £450 per day

🚗 Travel package included
