Senior Legal Counsel

Experienced commercial lawyer with 6+ years’ PQE supporting media, content and commercial businesses across talent, intellectual property, advertising, distribution and technology matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead negotiations and draft agreements involving talent, creators, agencies and production partners.
\n
• Advise on content rights, intellectual property, licensing, sponsorship, advertising and distribution arrangements.
\n
• Support commercial contracts, including supplier, technology, marketing and consumer-facing agreements.
\n
• Provide pragmatic legal advice on regulatory, consumer protection and commercial risk issues.
\n
• Assist with strategic projects, due diligence and business transactions.
\n
• Develop legal templates, processes and guidance to improve efficiency and consistency.
\n
• Promote the effective use of legal technology and AI tools within the legal function.
\n

Experience & Skills

\n
• Qualified solicitor 6 years+ PQE with strong experience in commercial, media, entertainment, digital content and IP matters gained in PP and in-house.
\n
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
\n
• Commercially minded, solutions-focused and able to balance legal risk with business objectives.
\n
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing complex matters independently.
\n
