About the Role

An established and highly respected technical manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Export / Import Specialist to join their operations team in Cambridge.

\n

This is a varied, hands-on role supporting global logistics, customer order fulfilment, and export compliance within a fast-paced international environment.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Process, schedule and invoice customer and internal orders
  • \n
  • Work closely with manufacturing to coordinate delivery timelines
  • \n
  • Manage customer communications and order updates
  • \n
  • Prepare and manage export documentation in line with compliance regulations
  • \n
  • Oversee repair administration from quotation through to dispatch
  • \n
  • Coordinate international shipments, including exhibitions and carnets
  • \n
  • Handle import documentation, including inward processing requirements
  • \n
  • Support with sales quotations when required
  • \n

Skills & Experience Required

\n
    \n
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in import/export (EU and worldwide)
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of export documentation and international shipping processes
  • \n
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage with technical stakeholders
  • \n
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • \n
  • Understanding of manufacturing or supply chain environments
  • \n
  • Experience with Letters of Credit, IPR or Carnets is advantageous
  • \n

This role is fully office based, you must be able to travel to office daily, interviews are in person.
